| FLANGED SYSTEM OPERATING PRESSURES |

- Maximum pressure for any flanged system
is 150 psi. At elevated temperatures the pressure capability
of a flanged system must be derated per the following
chart, subject to the following:
- PVC and CPVC flanges in sizes 2.5" to
3-inch and 4-inch threaded must be back welded
for the above pressure capability to be applicable.
- Threaded Polypro flanges in sizes
1/2" through 4", as well as the 6" back
weld socket flange, are not recommended for pressure
applications (drainage only).
